Check-ups allow us to monitor your dental health, discuss and recommend treatment and give preventive advice. They’re also an opportunity for you to voice any concerns. Measurements of your teeth and gums will often be taken together with x-rays and photographs to allow us to monitor early disease or make treatment decisions. We’ll examine your bite, soft tissues like tongue and palate, and your jaw joints. It’s also important for us to maintain a good medical history and any alcohol or tobacco use. How often we see you depends on your individual risk factors.
