GDC Registration Number 60309
Tandlaege (Copenhagen) MSc RDP (U. Lond)

Qualified in 1984 in Copenhagen and has practiced in the UK ever since. She worked initially in Dental Hospitals in Sheffield, Newcastle and here in the maxillofacial unit at York Hospital. Jette likes learning and will attend as many post graduate courses as she can fit in trying to stay as current as possible with new techniques and ideas. In 2013 Jette gained her Master of Science (MSc) degree having completed programmes for both the Certificate in Restorative Dentistry and the Diploma in Restorative Dental Practice at the world renowned Eastman Dental Institute, University College London. This continued and formalised her knowledge and understanding of all aspects of restorative dentistry including minimal intervention as well as complex dentistry, building healthy durable beautiful dentitions but not giving up her love for preventative measures.
Jette is currently Chair of the British Society for Occlusal Studies (BSOS), a member of the American Equilibration Society (AES) since 1997 which she will join as a director in February 2017 and an instructor teaching other dentists about bite disease. She has a long standing special interest in helping patients with facial pain and bite problems and continues to learn while attending meetings in Chicago on a bi-annual basis and Oro-facial pain clinics in the UK.
When she has chance, Jette reads, cooks and tries to stay fit but her favorite thing is spending time with friends and family here in England and in Denmark and walking with Steven and Poppy their dog.
